  • You are responsible for the commercial bid processing for worldwide plant projects within the thyssenkrupp nucera group.
  • The commercial analysis of invitation to bid (ITB) and/or contracts,, preparation of commercial bid documentation as well as leading contractual negotiations with clientsare part of your tasks.
  • Furthermore, your activities include addressing commercial topicsand contract risks as well as implementing hedging measures. In addition, you will also be responsible for determining relevant costs and elaborating and negotiating the payment milestones and collateral.
  • Together with the technical bid manager and the legal department you are part of the integral part of the proposal team. In this regard you will coordinate all commercial functions (e.g. Finance, Tax, Insurance, International Personal Asignment and Claims Managament) involved in the bidding process.
  • In addition, you will proactively manage risks and opportunities in the bidding process.
  • Through your work, as part of the proposal team, you will ensure the delivery of competitive proposals and participate in client negotiations.
  • Based on the global governance function you will act as a mentor and supporter for the local affiliates in the regions.


  • You have a degree in economics, industrial engineering or comparable.
  • Furthermore, you can look back on many years of professional experience in international project business in plant engineering.
  • In addition, you score with extensive knowledge in leading national and international projects as well as in contract management with customers and suppliers.
  • In doing so, you use your strong analytical skills with detail orientation to create, review and amend contract documents.
  • You are willing to take leadership and responsibility for your projects. Here, your teamwork skills, communication skills, customer orientation and entrepreneurial thinking will be of great help to you.
  • Since this role entails, among other things, a willingness to travel worldwide, a business-fluent command of English (min. C1 level) is mandatory.
  • Solid knowledge of common MS Office applications complete your profile.
